Q. Do we need medical cover if we are
organising an event - it is only a small event?
A. The simple answer is yes you have a
responsibility to competitor’s member’s of staff and the attending public under the Corporate Manslaughter Act
which came into force 6th April 2008.
Q. Are You Insured?
A. We carry medical malpractice insurance to the value of £5 million.
Q. Is your company and are your staff
qualified to carry out the services you offer?
A. All our staff are trained and continue
training to maintain their qualifications
Q. How will you treat the Patient during
their movement?
A. With the same respect ad dignity as we
would like to be treated ourselves with compassion and understanding to each
patients needs
Q. Are your drivers "just that" -
car drivers?
A. No all our drivers hold the licence to
drive the category of vehicle they are employed to drive and all go through
specialised emergency response driver training
Q. Are you part of the NHS?
A. No we are not part of the NHS we are a
private and independently owned.
Q. Are your vehicles safe and road worthy?
A. Yes they are serviced every 3 months and
receive an MOT every 6 months to ensure they run properly and are road worthy
Q. Do you move Patients to anywhere?
A. We move patients all over the country for
various reasons from medical appointments to going to a wedding
Q. Which Areas do you cover?
A. We cover anywhere within the United
Kingdom
Q. Will you let us down if we use you?
A. Never! We will never take on a job or
contract if we are not capable of covering it.
